Misko Rovcanin is a master bowyer working from Belgrade, Serbia with more than 20 years of experiance. Other than fiberglass, which he imports from Germany, Misko sources all of his materials locally. Ash, which is most common material for limbs, is complimented with Walnut, Plum, Cherry, Pear and other fruit woods. His passion and attention to detail is hard to match.

The Tiron is inspired by bows from frescoes in Serbian monasteries. Bowyer Misko Rovcanin considers this bow his pet project. Its laminated glass-wood construction also includes stabil-core technology, making it fast and reliable.

The Despot is a laminate bow inspired by a composite bow from the fresco of St. Procopius in Lesnovo Monastery (circa 1349) whose ktitor (founder) was the Serbian landlord, despot Jovan Oliver. The bow model got its name after the highest title of the ktitor. The bow is made according to the description and graphic reconstruction of the history teacher, Zoran Pavlović, who has been studying Serbian archery for many years (particularly bows in the territory covered or controlled by medieval Serbians and other Balkan states). The godfather of model "Despot" is Misko's good friend Zack Đurica from Canada, one of the best and most recognized craftsmen for the reproduction of medieval and historical archery equipment.
